Career Coaching Your Children:
Learner Assessment

A survey was designed for a target population of parents with children, and/or educators, in the K-12 system. The purpose of this survey was to obtain entry behaviors, prior knowledge of the topic area, attitudes toward content, course motivation, ability level for a potential learning tool and overall interest in potential content for instructional design. The survey was designed with prior knowledge of general group characteristics and learning context (Dick, Carey & Carey, 2005).
